J Payne shares his story on how he came from the Juggalo counter cultural lifestyle and is now a Jesus Freak. For those who are unawares, Juggalos are fans of the Hip Hop duo ICP (The Insane Clown Posse). With their faces painted as wicked clowns, the two (Violent J & Shaggy 2 Dope) made famous a style of rap music called horrorcore, which is a blend of fantasy themed lyrics and horror movies if you can imagine. Songs about sex, drugs, rape, murder, robbing and more filled every one of ICP's albums. The lyrics were that of gangster rap meets The Texas Chainsaw Massacre and for reasons unknown the genre exploded. All across America and out of every trailer park you could be sure to hear the strange music of The Insane Clown Posse and their proteges on Psychopathic Records during the mid 90's. J Payne was infatuated with this style of music and embraced that Juggalo lifestyle. But then J Payne had an encounter with Jesus and his life was forever changed. Most Christians when they find Christ throw away all their secular music and stick solely to Christian music. This was J's story too but he still had a heart for the people and once "family" who call themselves Juggalos. Instead of leaving them behind Jeremy began to write hip hop music that fit stylistically with the genre of horrorcore, but instead of writing about murdering people, sex, and drug use, J Payne uses his platform of music and poetry to paint a picture of the darkness that he was once in while living that lifestyle. Jeremy (J Payne) now goes back to the Juggalo communities to minister and share his story of redemption through the saving power of Jesus Christ. The Insane Clown Posse and Juggalos hold a yearly mega festival called The Gathering of The Juggalos. Jeremy and several other brothers have gone back and set up a booth where they pass out free christian rap CDs, offer prayer, and share their personal stories. Since Jeremy still looks the role of a Juggalo with red face paint and all, his message gets a little backlash from the Church realm.  At first glance many people are turned off until they hear testimony after testimony of how God is using Jeremy (J Payne) and the rest of his brothers to change the lives of Juggalos across the world. And yes, as a matter of fact the conclusion is that JESUS LOVES JUGGALOS!!!
