The Chiefs still have the MVP under center, but with a thumb injury, can he play at that MVP level? While the KC offense has been solid but not a juggernaut, the Chiefs' defense has been trending up, taking away the ball at a very high rate. While much will be made about Lock's homecoming to Kansas City, the real difference maker in this game might be the Broncos' trenches. Given the number of injuries the Broncos have on the interior offensive line and interior defensive line, the ability to run the football and stop the run could be the tie breaker that decides if the Broncos can compete on Sunday and maybe win, or get beat up badly and lose again to the Chiefs.
