On today’s episode we are joined by our guest and principal architect at Mcquaid Architects, Elaine Mcquaid. We discuss how to find an architect and the initial design brief. She tells us how she got started and why she went into architecture, and then we talk about our history of how we came to our current situation. Elaine talks about how you can work with an architect and the best things you can do to prepare, such as thinking about how you live your life, and then designing your home accordingly. She makes models of homes and explains why she chooses this method as opposed to a computer program or other methods.
