In today’s weekly bilingual Sovereign Futures Podcast I share some of my thoughts, inspired by Seneca, around self-created suffering.

As the quote of Seneca says, we suffer in our imagination.
It is often our imagination of the worst based on lack of inquiry, lack of emotional mastery, or assumptions that have the voice in our head run wild with reckless thoughts and negative inner chatter keeping us from being sane, calm, and our present self. ... It creates idleness, comfort and reactive behaviors based on illusions rather than reality, and that’s when we create our own suffering

A menudo es nuestra imaginación de lo peor, basado en la falta de investigación, la falta de dominio emocional o suposiciones, lo que hace que la voz en nuestra cabeza se vuelva loca con pensamientos imprudentes y charlas internas negativas que nos impiden ser cuerdos, tranquilos y nuestro ser actual...

Este tipo de sufrimiento generar ociosidad, comodidad y comportamientos reactivos basados en ilusiones más que en la realidad misma y es en estos momentos de suposición y reacción cuando creamos nuestro propio sufrimiento.
