Really? I don’t see much right wing anything in Eugene. But we are a college town. Most conservative people (not all) live outside Eugene. Some across the Willamette River in Springfield(where John V lives).

I wasn’t thinking of the end Jack. I have read about 1/2 of the book. I was reading somewhere that later on the main character (Winston) is arrested, tortured (rats) and then at the end killed.
