Wisdom Through God's Eyes – Wisdom Unplugged

Thank you for joining us for our 5 days per week wisdom and legacy building podcast. This is Day 697 of our trek, and it is time for a 3-minute mini-trek called Wisdom Unplugged. This short nugget of wisdom includes an inspirational quote with a little additional content for today’s trek.  Consider this your vitamin supplement of wisdom for today. So let’s jump right in with today’s nugget.Today’s quote is from Wisdom-Trek, and it is, "Wisdom is being able to see the circumstances of life as God sees them."
Wisdom Through God’s Eyes
Being finite, it is difficult to see life’s situations as the eternal God sees them. We are so shortsighted that we feel that any situation that is difficult for us is negative and bad. We see the situations that are easy and pleasant as positive and good.

As we look back at our life though, if we are wise, we will realize and understand that the difficult situations many times turn out for our good. They force us to rely on God for our strength. When times are good, we tend to rely on ourselves and feel that life is good because of something we have done.

Certainly, our daily choices impact our lives, but God is bigger than our circumstances and sees our lives from an infinite perspective. As we grow and mature, we should welcome both the easy and difficult times because it takes both to make us who we are today and who we are growing into. As King Solomon wrote in Ecclesiastes 7:14,  "Enjoy prosperity while you can, but when hard times strike, realize that both come from God. Remember that nothing is certain in this life."That’s a wrap for today’s Wisdom Unplugged. If you enjoy these quotes, I have created and published a searchable database of over 10,000 quotes that I have collected for many years.  If you would like free access to my database of inspirational quotes, the link is available on the main page of Wisdom-Trek.com.

As you enjoy these nuggets of wisdom, please encourage your friends and family to join us and then come along tomorrow for another day of our Wisdom-Trek, Creating a Legacy.
