Another topic we tackle is America's issues with sex and reputation for sexual repression in relation to Frank Booth and Jeffery Beaumont and how women owning their sexuality can be frightening. We discuss the Boy Scout trope Lynch loves to explore in his films with male protagonists and finally we ask the question: is BLUE VELVET misogynist?
