This is the first of a short series on 'Looking Back' to the New Testament 'Ekklesia' the called out people of God and how they the community of Christ was characterised by Mission, Discipleship, Community and Movement. I am laying a foundation here in this first discussion because of the impact of the last 2 years on all of our lives in different ways. Kairos Moments or Events can help us to live in God's 'Kairos' time. Kairos moments are marked by thier impact, they are signficant events or moments that are usually emotional in nature, they can be painful or joyful. We all have defining moments in our lives. The Moment that the Western 'Church' is in is also an opportunity. But we need to be engaged with our lives and with 'Kairos' Moments and events in a proactive way rather than be passively acted upon. We are not at the mercy of circumstances no matter how minimal or life changing. Here I talk about the 6 words that we can use to enter into this learning circle of Kairos time. It hopefully begins to open a way into gaining some clarity regarding where we are at, primarily with the 'Church' and maybe longing and thirsting for more, but not sure where to find it.
