God wants you to know that you can have confidence in His Word, He tells you
“So shall My word be that goes forth out of My mouth: it shall not return to Me void without producing any effect, useless, but it shall accomplish that which I please and purpose, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it. (Isaiah‬ ‭55:11‬)

Trusting and relying on the Authority of the Word of God causes your prayers to rises above the senses, because you are speaking the very Word if the Creator of the Universe – God Himself.

The Scriptures always treat God’s Word as powerful and authoritative. The primary claim of the Bible to its own inspiration is found in...

All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness. (2 Timothy 3:16)

Knowing this first of all, that no prophecy of Scripture comes from someone's own interpretation. For no prophecy was ever produced by the will of man, but men spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit. (2 Peter 1:20–21)

And we also thank God constantly for this, that when you received the word of God, which you heard from us, you accepted it not as the word of men but as what it really is, the Word of God, which is at work in you believers. (1Thessalonians 2:13)

So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ. (Romans 10:17)

For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart. (Hebrews 4:12)

And Jesus considered the writings of Moses (the Old Testament Law) more persuasive than someone rising from the dead:

And he said to the Rich man who asked, ‘Then I beg you, father, to send him to my father's house—for I have five brothers—so that he may warn them, lest they also come into this place of torment.’ But Abraham said, ‘They have Moses and the Prophets; let them hear them.’ And he said, ‘No, father Abraham, but if someone goes to them from the dead, they will repent.’ He said to him, ‘If they do not hear Moses and the Prophets, neither will they be convinced if someone should rise from the dead.’ (Luke 16:27–31)

Scripture is the very Word of God and it holdsthe authority of God Himself. So, we treat it as such.

Always Be Prepared

God is the authority over God's word. In God's word is a life. The Word of God became flesh in the person of Jesus Christ (John 1:1,14) Who is the LORD of lords in the King of Kings, the Word of God Himself. (Revelations 19:13,16)

The Word of God is referred to in Scripture as the sword of the Spirit (Ephesians 6:17) and as being sharper than any two-edged sword (Hebrews 4:12).

Psalm 119 revelad the reverence to holf for God’s Word.
God’s Word serves as a guide for godly living (verses 9–11),
provides strength for the weary (verse 28), gives instruction (verse 33) and understanding (verse 34), brings renewal to life (verse 40) and leads to joy and delight (verses 35, 111).

When God reveals Himself, He does so by His Holy Spirit, in demonstration of the Holy Spirit and power, a proof by the Spirit and power of God, operating on a person and stirring in the minds of the hearers the most holy emotions and thus persuading them, So that your faith might not rest in the wisdom of men (human philosophy), but in the power of God.”
‭‭(1 Corinthians‬ ‭2:4-5‬ )‬

You can trust in the authority of God's Word. God has made Himself known in the Scriptures. Truly, revelation and authority are two sides of the same reality. God declares His authority in His revelation—His inspired Word—and God alone is the ultimate source of authority.

So, we confess that God has revealed Himself to us. His revelation has been preserved for us in Scripture by the Holy Spirit’s work of inspiration. We confess our belief in the divine inspiration, total truthfulness and complete authority of the Bible.

Begin each day alone with God in His Word and in prayer, listening as He speaks to your heart. Believe what He says in Scripture, apply it to your life, and then share with someone else what He has revealed. Be bold and remember that the authority of your message comes from Him.
