Because God is Love, He is the perfect source From to know what love is and to learn how to love others, even those who are difficult for you to love.

Divine Love is the Love of God for you. God made a Divine Choice to Love you, to prefer, to love you; and you is the born again child of the living God, it means that you as a believer Love God by preferring to "live through Christ".

As God describes His Love Manifested to you. He says:

In this My Love (agápē) was made manifest and displayed concerning you: in that I God sent My Son, My only begotten, unique Son, into the world so that you might live through Him.

In this is love (agápē), not that we loved (agapáō) God, but that He loved (agapáō) us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins. Beloved, if God so loved (agapáō) us, we also ought to love (agapáō) one another. (‭‭I John‬ ‭4:10-11)‬ ‬

To Love is to embrace God's will, choosing His choices and obeying them through His power at Work in you, Not in your own strength, know that only God can Express His Love through you. God effectually at work in you energizing and creating in you the power and desire, both to will and to work for His good pleasure and satisfaction and delight.‭‭(Philippians‬ ‭2:13‬) ‬

He gives you the Desire to Perfer what God prefers as He "is love" so His Preference is Love (agapē).

Thus for you as the believer, "to love" (agapáō) means actively doing what the Lord prefers, by His power and direction. Remember to truely "love" (agapáō) another is always defined by God – as a "a preferred discriminating affection which involves choice and selection”; thus conveying and "preferring” (agapáō) is Christ living His life through you.

However, in the culture of man the term love is distorted to prefer one self over God. It is the reverse of preferring God. Therefore, the love of man is not the love God approves nor prefers.

Christ gave you a new commandment: that you should love one another, as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this all men will know that you are My disciples, if you love one another- if you keep on showing love among yourselves. (John ‭13:34-35)‬

God's word goes on further to say:
Love never fails. (1 Corinthians 13:8)

For you are in Christ Jesus, neither circumcision nor uncircumcision counts for anything, but only faith activated and energized and expressed and working through love. (Galatians ‭5:6)‬

And God Demonstrares His Own Love (agápē) for you: what God prefers by the fact that while you were still a sinner, Christ died for you.(Romans ‭5:8‬)

God uses over 900 times (921) in the King James Version of the New Testament Beloved "Divinely-loved-one” (agapētós), to Describe how he sees you.
Therefore,Be imitators of God as His dear child. And walk in love, as Christ also has loved you and given Himself for you, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling aroma. ‭‭(Ephesians‬ ‭5:1-2‬)‬

Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends. (John ‭15:13‬)

But concerning brotherly love (philadelphía) (from phílos, "loving friend" and adelphós, "a brother") – affection fo fellow-believers) you have no need that I should write to you, for you yourselves are taught by God to love (agapētós) one another; (I Thessalonians ‭4:9‬)

God is Love (1 John ‭4:18‬)

God’s Attributes and His Gifts Given to you buntue Holy Spirit are Demonstrated as Follows:
Love is patient and kind, not ill-mannered or selfish.
Love (God's love in you) does not insist or demand its own rights or its own way; for Love is not self-seeking;
Love is not touchy or fretful or resentful.
Love does not keep a record of wrongs. Love pays no attention to a suffered wrong.
Love does not rejoice at injustice and unrighteousness,
Love rejoices when right and truth prevail.
Love is not jealous or boastful or proud or arrogant or rude.
Love is not happy with evil, but is happy with the Truth.
Love does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out.
Love never Fails nor gives up;
Love never loses faith,
Love bears up under anything and everything that comes,
Love is ever ready to believe the best of every person,
Love is always hopeful, and
Love endures everything without weakening.
Love is fadeless under and through all circumstances.
Love is eternal.
Love never fails never fades out or becomes obsolete or comes to an end.
(1 Corinthians ‭13:5-8‬ )
