Shrabani Basu is a journalist and the author of books on historical characters including Victoria and Abdul, The Spy Princess and For King and Another Country. In 2010, Shrabani founded the Noor Inayat Khan Memorial Trust, and she is based out of London.
In this interview Shrabani and I talk about her research, the complex topics and characters she chooses for her writing, and her bookwriting journey that began with a book on cooking. Her books have been translated into Marathi and Bengali.
