Salmos 26:1‭-‬12 RVA2015:
Hazme justicia, oh SEÑOR, porque yo en mi integridad he andado. Asimismo, he confiado en el SEÑOR; no vacilaré. Examíname, oh SEÑOR, y pruébame. Purifica mi conciencia y mi corazón; porque tu misericordia está delante de mis ojos, y camino en tu verdad. No me he sentado con los hombres falsos ni tengo tratos con los hipócritas. Aborrezco la reunión de los malhechores; nunca me he sentado con los impíos. Lavaré mis manos en inocencia e iré alrededor de tu altar, oh SEÑOR, para proclamar con voz de agradecimiento y contar todas tus maravillas. Oh SEÑOR, he amado la habitación de tu casa, el lugar de la morada de tu gloria. No recojas mi alma junto con los pecadores ni mi vida con los hombres sanguinarios, en cuyas manos hay infamia y cuya mano derecha está llena de soborno. Pero yo andaré en mi integridad; redímeme y ten misericordia de mí. Mis pies se han afirmado en suelo llano; en las congregaciones te bendeciré, oh SEÑOR.


Esta es una de las oraciones más sinceras y transparentes del salmista. Como ya lo he explicado anteriormente en otros salmos, este salmo es una combinación de clamor por justicia. También le pide a Dios, exponiendo sus actos de justicia e integridad, pero no para reclamarle al Señor la bendición por sus propias obras, sino como una demostración de una entrega genuina de alguien que quiere agradar a Dios con todo su corazón, alma, mente y fuerzas.
Sus convicciones y su conciencia clara de su forma de vivir son tan fuertes y transparentes que le abre la puerta de su corazón al Señor para que lo examine y se dé cuenta que el salmista ha vivido bajo el temor de Dios, amándolo, respetándolo y venerándolo cada día de su vida.
Uno de los ejemplos que el salmista le expone al Señor de su forma de vivir es que nunca se ha asociado con personas que hacen maldad y que planean injusticias en contra de su prójimo, y tampoco ha participado en planes malévolos para dañar a otras personas.

Uno de los ingredientes que el salmista procuraba guardar en su corazón es la INOCENCIA. Espero que todos podamos aprender del salmista, que es supremamente importante el NO abrirle la puerta de nuestra mente y corazón a las experiencias de maldad. La inocencia es un ingrediente que es menospreciado últimamente. Muchos jóvenes sufren la burla de sus amigos porque rechazan envolverse en prácticas nocivas como la pornografía que entran por los ojos y dañan la mente, destruyendo la inocencia y el alma temerosa de Dios. Aunque se burlen de ti y te digan que eres un ignorante o un mojigato o santurrón, sigue guardando tu corazón puro y limpio. En el momento se burlarán y te menospreciarán, pero después le darás gracias a Dios por no haber tocado la suciedad. Si en algún momento te salpican las impurezas en las vestiduras blancas de tu alma, ven al altar de Dios para que el Señor te limpie con Su sangre; y por favor, nunca pierdas ese amor y anhelo por estar en el altar de Dios. No hay placer mundano que se compare al placer de estar en la gloria de Dios.
El salmista disfrutaba cada vez que llevaba su ofrenda para que los sacerdotes intercedieran por él, y él allí alcanzaba a sentir la presencia de Dios. David como rey le daba la gloria a Dios delante de todos los que estaban presentes del pueblo de Israel, dando ejemplo a los demás de que no importaba si él era el ungido rey de Israel; él siempre demostró humildad rindiendo tributo y honor al Señor todo el tiempo.
Así que no pierdas la inocencia, no te asocies con los malos para que puedas presentarte al Señor con la cabeza en alto, sabiendo que has sido un hijo de Dios ejemplar.

Considera:
¿Estás asociado con personas que no tienen respeto ni temor de Dios?
¿Vives una vida íntegra como el salmista lo declaraba?
¿Te deleitas en la presencia de Dios y lo alabas con todo tu corazón sin sentir vergüenza?

October 11: Present yourself with clean hands in innocence and with a whole heart.

Psalms 26:1-12:
Vindicate me, O Lord, for I have walked in my integrity. I have also trusted in the Lord; I shall not slip. Examine me, O Lord, and prove me; try my mind and my heart. For Your lovingkindness is before my eyes, and I have walked in Your truth. I have not sat with idolatrous mortals, nor will I go in with hypocrites. I have hated the assembly of evildoers, and will not sit with the wicked. I will wash my hands in innocence; so I will go about Your altar, O Lord, that I may proclaim with the voice of thanksgiving, and tell of all Your wondrous works. Lord, I have loved the habitation of Your house, and the place where Your glory dwells. Do not gather my soul with sinners, nor my life with bloodthirsty men, in whose hands is a sinister scheme, and whose right hand is full of bribes. But as for me, I will walk in my integrity; redeem me and be merciful to me. My foot stands in an even place; in the congregations I will bless the Lord.


This is one of the most sincere and transparent prayers of the psalmist. As I have previously explained in other psalms, this psalm is a combination of a cry for justice. He also asks God, exposing his acts of justice and integrity, but not to claim the Lord's blessing for his own works, but as a demonstration of a genuine surrender of someone who wants to please God with all his heart, soul, mind and forces.
His convictions and his clear conscience of his way of life are so strong and transparent that he opens the door of his heart for the Lord to examine him and realize that the psalmist has lived under the fear of God, loving him, respecting him and venerating him every day of his life.
One of the examples that the psalmist exposes to the Lord of his way of life is that he has never associated with people who do evil and who plan injustices against their neighbor, nor has he participated in malicious plans to harm other people.

One of the ingredients that the psalmist tried to keep in his heart is INNOCENCE. I hope that we can all learn from the psalmist, that it is extremely important not to open the door of our minds and hearts to experiences of evil. Innocence is an ingredient that is looked down upon lately. Many young people are mocked by their friends because they refuse to engage in harmful practices such as pornography that enter through the eyes and damage the mind, destroying the innocence and the God-fearing soul. Even if they make fun of you and tell you that you are ignorant or prudish or self-righteous, keep on guarding your heart pure and clean. At the moment they will mock and belittle you, but later you will thank God for not having touched the dirt. If at any time impurities splash on the white garments of your soul, come to the altar of God so that the Lord will cleanse you with His blood; and please, never lose that love and longing to be at the altar of God. There is no worldly pleasure that compares to the pleasure of being in the glory of God.
The psalmist enjoyed each time he brought his offering so that the priests would intercede for him, and there he reached to feel the presence of God. David as king gave glory to God in front of all who were present of the people of Israel, setting an example to others that it did not matter if he was the anointed king of Israel; he always showed humility by paying tribute and honor to the Lord all the time.
So don't lose your innocence, don't associate with the evil and wrong people so that you can present yourself to the Lord with your head held high, knowing that you have been an exemplary child of God.

Consider this:
Are you associated with people who have no respect or fear of God?
Do you live a life of integrity as the psalmist declared?
Do you delight in the presence of God and praise Him with all your heart without feeling ashamed?
