Broken angel lost in sin,
wishing for the light of God.
Heart of conflict and darkness within,
demanding truth on the outside,
overcoming lies with his tongue.
Broken angel lonely cowboy,
in a day too crowded for cows or grass.
Bombarded by memories much better forgotten,
and whispers better left in the past.
Lord help these broken angels find their way to You.
Jesus grace them with the strength to find Your grace.
Father You said never,
So I know that You're still here today.
Lord help these broken angels find meaning.
Help us to see our way through.
That we may stand in Your Presence with joy.
Father lift up our hearts again, cleanse us and help us stand,
Jesus Your angels love You.
