On November 24, 1971, a man named Dan Cooper (aka DB Cooper) went to Portland International Airport and bought a one-way ticket for a 30-min flight to Seattle. The ticket cost $12.04, paid for in cash, booked on Northwest Orient Airlines.
The plane was a Boeing 727-100. Cooper sat more towards the rear of the plane. He ordered a bourbon and soda, he was dressed like the Men in Black, and he appeared to be in his 40s. more…

Every year, millions of dollars of produce are stolen every year. Sometimes these heists are small, one-person operation. Other times they are well-organized and haul away several tons of high-dollar produce to the black market.
