The message of this movie and the lesson for all of us is that even though feelings are intense, sometimes the joy is intense and sometimes the pain is intense, it’s not the feelings themselves that are the problem. The first problem we really face is hiding and repressing the emotions into the unconscious because you cannot release something that you have repressed, you cannot release something that you have denied from awareness. Until you can get in touch with your feelings and let those feelings come into awareness you cannot heal spiritually.
