Da quanto tempo era che non facevo il bagno al mare, di notte?

Ieri ho fatto il bagno al mare di notte. Non mi ricordo più quando quando era l'ultima volta che lo avevo fatto, è un'esperienza bellissima. Quando ero più giovane lo facevo molto più spesso, adesso è un po' più difficile trovare persone con cui condividere l'avventura. In questi giorni è in visita la mia amica da Berlino, ve ne ho già parlato diverse volte, Micaela, non ci vedevamo da più di vent'anni. In questi giorni che stiamo trascorrendo insieme sono fantastici anche perché ho finalmente la possibilità di dire "Ti ricordi Michaela?" e magari cose che lei aveva dimenticato e lei ricorda a me cose che abbiamo fatto insieme alle quali io non pensavo più. Ieri ho portato Micaela a fare uno dei percorsi che io preferisco e che condivido sempre con i miei ospiti, soprattutto quando sono ospiti che vengono da fuori dall'Italia, cioè salire a piedi sulla Sella del Diavolo. Se avete mai visto foto di Cagliari, la Sella del Diavolo è quella che domina la spiaggia del Poetto, è una montagna che ha la forma di una sella. C'è un percorso che si può fare a piedi per salire fino in cima alla sella, e da lì si vede non solo la città, si vede tutta la spiaggia, si vedono chilometri, è un punto altissimo da cui si vede veramente un panorama mozzafiato. E in cima alla Sella del Diavolo c'è una specie di rifugio con dei tavoli fuori e delle panche, e quello che io faccio con i miei amici, sempre, quando salgo lì, programmiamo l'ascesa alla Sella del Diavolo così da arrivare su al tramonto e ci godiamo il tramonto da sopra la Sella, ci portiamo dietro gli zaini con roba da bere, roba da mangiare e abbiamo cenato lì, abbiamo fatto un bell'aperitivo con birra e con tante cose buone che avevamo comprato e preparato durante il giorno per l'occasione. Poi di nuovo tutto negli zaini e si scende giù. Ormai è buio, infatti avevamo anche le luci, e una volta arrivati alla fine di questa montagnola c'è una bella spiaggetta e lì era buio, era notte e con Michaela abbiamo fatto un bagno pazzesco, bellissimo. L'acqua era super trasparente e caldissima. Bellissimo! Siamo state lì a bagno scherzando, giocando, facendoci fare le fotografie dalle altre persone che ci accompagnavano che non sono volute entrare. Poi siamo tornati a casa, stanchissime. Stamattina si è dormito fino a tardi, infatti stamattina niente sveglia alle 6 per andare a correre e camminare, comunque ve lo consiglio, se avete la possibilità, soprattutto se non l'avete mai fatto: fatevi un bel bagno al mare di notte, perché è veramente un'esperienza indimenticabile. Ve lo consiglio fortissimamente.

Yesterday I took a swim in the sea at night. I don't remember when it was the last time I did it, it's a beautiful experience. When I was younger, I used to do it much more often, now it's a bit harder to find people to share the adventure with. These days my friend from Berlin is visiting, I have already told you about it several times, Michaela, we had not seen each other for more than twenty years. These days we are spending together are fantastic also because I finally have the chance to say "Do you remember Michaela?" about things she had forgotten, and she reminds me of things we did together that I no longer thought about. Yesterday I took Michaela to do one of my favorite routes and that I always share with my guests, especially when they are guests who come from outside Italy, that is to walk up the Sella del Diavolo. If you have ever seen photos of Cagliari, the Sella del Diavolo is the one that dominates the Poetto beach, it is a mountain that has the shape of a saddle. There is a path that you can do on foot to climb up to the top of the saddle, and from there you can see not only the city, you can see the whole beach, you can see for kilometers, it is a very high point from which you can truly see a panorama breathtaking. And at the top of the Sella del Diavolo there is a kind of shelter with tables outside and benches, and what I do with my friends, always, when I go up there, we plan the ascent to the Sella del Diavolo so as to get on at sunset and we enjoy the sunset from above the Sella, we carry backpacks with things to drink, stuff to eat and we had dinner there, we had a nice aperitif with beer and many good things that we had bought and prepared during the day for the occasion. Then back all in the backpacks and down it goes, it is now dark, in fact we also had lights, and once we reached the end of this mound there is a beautiful beach and there it was dark, it was night and with Michaela we had a crazy, beautiful swim. The water was super clear and very hot. Beautiful! We were in the water joking, playing, having pictures taken by the others who were with us accompanied us who did not want to swim. Then we went home, very tired. This morning we slept late, in fact this morning no 6am alarm to go running and walking, anyway, I recommend it, if you have the opportunity, especially if you have never done it before: take a nice swim in the sea at night, because it is truly an unforgettable experience.
