Trixie is the founder of Flavours of Hope, social enterprise that supports and empowers newcomer women to earn a living wage and build social connections in communities through cooking and sharing culinary traditions and stories. Trixie uses business as a way to fill the needs of newcomer refugees. She was inspired to create Flavours of Hope after witnessing the challenges of being a newcomer, through her own immigration story and through her work in social services.
