OK, so let's dive into the June 2018 edition of this podcast, which has the overwhelming theme of pioneering and inspiring women, who share their stories of creating a life in Portugal, starting with Pure Portugal's founding director Sophie Kempin who recently took part in a commemorative Q&A session.

You'll also hear from Lynn Mylou at A vida Fausto who, still recovering from last year's fire devastation, gives us an incredibly inspiring account of her journey into a life of a different kind of luxury.

After Lynn, Ana PT is back with another Portuguese language lesson where she gives the heads up on meet ‘n’ greet vocabulary and phrasing.

We then go to Pure Portugal team member Deborah Richmond who tells us about her fascinating rewilding work at the Quinta Das Abelhas, set in the mountains of Central Portugal, dedicated as a sanctuary to the honey bee and ecosystem restoration.

Last, but certainly by no means least, is Cressida Moger, who again has a truly moving story to tell about her downshift and upgrade to life in rural Portugal.

The podcast begins with Sophie Kempin who recently discussed the past, present and future of Pure Portugal as part of the 14th birthday celebrations. Carl is joined by Louisa Munson who shares Sophie's answers, starting with her response to “what was the inspiration behind Pure Portugal?”
