Talking with Omar and Andrea, a South African/Venezuelan couple currently based in Central Portugal, who ran a small tour company in the UK since 2011 - until they experienced a 'pandemic plot-twist'. After realising they wanted to live in the countryside, and that the UK had become too expensive for them, they decided to try Portugal!

They have now bought a 3,400m2 farm and started to renovate it. They don’t have any other source of income but wanted to show how it is possible to relocate, get your dream home, and with a lot of work, get to have the lifestyle you want in the Portuguese countryside.
