Craige went on to say that the attendees are in the entrepreneurial, startup, and high tech communities. The breakfast will occur adjacent to the world-renown SXSW Conference, occurring at the same time in Austin. The goal of the event is to get innovation communities together and to demonstrate new innovations and technology.

Craige is an electrical engineer and patent attorney who specializes in patentable electrical and software products. Tech Breakfast organizers, Ron Schmelzer, Chief Event Wrangler, and Kathleen Walch, Content and Innovation, noted that the event began in 2011 and now has grown to over 4,700 participants, sponsors and exhibitors.
