With no warning, inspectors with the Texas Commission on Jail Standards visit Brazos County each spring or summer.

The sheriff's office announced the county's three holding facilities passed last week's two day inspection.

Jail administrator Wayne Dicky says one day was spent visiting with inmates and employees in the main detention center, the low risk facility, and an inmate holding area inside the courthouse.

A second day was spent reviewing the records in all three facilities.
