The nearly two week period for early voting in the Texas primary election begins Tuesday. That's because Monday is President's Day.

Brazos County elections administrator Trudy Hancock says there are 117,069 registered voters. That's up from about 103,000 in 2016.

Hancock says the voting location in downtown Bryan has moved from the elections office to the Brazos County administration building due to the expected heavy turnout.

There are five voting centers during early voting. Other locations are Texas A&M's memorial student center, the College Station Utilities center on Graham Road, and Bryan's Arena Hall and Galilee Baptist Church.

Hancock says if you live in Brazos County but your voter registration is in another county, you can fill out a limited ballot during the early voting period at the Brazos County administration building.

Early voting hours during the first week are 7 until 7 Tuesday through Friday, 7 until 7 on Saturday, and 10 until 3 on Sunday.

Early voting hours during the second week are from 7 until 7 the entire week.

Sample ballots and more information is online at brazosvotes.org.
