The business community is ready to work with the new government in the revival of the economy and looks forward to progressive and competitive policies that attract local and foreign direct investment.Local businessman, Mr Luxon Zembe said there is an opportunity for a restart as evidenced by the global community, including Britain, pledging to support the new government.

Incoming President, Cde Emmerson Mnangagwa is said to be pro-business, an element that will enable firms and the government to focus on addressing currency issues, corruption and lack of fiscal discipline, an industrialist, Mrs Marah Hativagone.
The industrial index marginally dropped on trading this Wednesday despite renewed interests by investors on the market.Trading on the Zimbabwe Stock Exchange (ZSE) was characterised by limited trading volumes, resulting in the mainstream industrial index shedding 5,07 percent to 329,63 points, while the mining index remained unchanged at 129,82 points.
