The 2011 Canadian federal election was held  May 2, 2011, to elect members to the House of Commons of the 41st Canadian Parliament. The Conservative Party 167 seats remained in government, New Democratic Party 167 won the largest number of seats in their history and will form the Official Opposition for the first time ,Liberal Party 34 won the fewest seats in their history  and the Bloc Québécois 6 Green Party won 1.
