This was better than '95 and '96, but what's that really saying? All in all, the history of WCW's Uncensored pay-per-views have been completely crap. This one was no different. However, the Marks (Troy & Greg) make this one friggin' fun, which is more than we can say about WCW's bookers. Eric Bischoff already took off for an extended vacation, Kevin Nash and Hulk Hogan were basically booking things, and the company was already circling the drain while WWF was riding high. On the card, Scott Steiner put his TV Title on the line against Booker T and Hollywood Hogan put the WCW Title on the line against Ric Flair (if Flair wins, he becomes President for life, but if he loses, he retires) in a Barbed Wire Steel Cage First Blood match. Yeah, it was a mess. On a positive note, we've got a boat load of news to bring you before we review the event! Remind us...why was this the WCW PPV competition to WrestleMania?
