Host Adam Burke was back on the air with The Bettor’s Box to talk about what he’s seen and what he expects to see as we go forward here. Adam discussed the offensive changes from April to May and looked at whether or not the baseball is different or if hitters are just making adjustments. He talked about extreme outliers and why those are the ones to focus on for improvements. He also looked at how big favorites are having a big month of May and why that may not change.
After a discussion of some recent line movements from the weekend and the thought processes behind them, Adam gave out a couple of picks for Monday night and then previewed five series for the week ahead. In the spotlight were Indians vs. Tigers, Rockies vs. Mets, Padres vs. Brewers, Dodgers vs. Astros, and Reds vs. Nationals.
