This topic may be uncomfortable for some but it’s one we all will experience on day. Death. How do we approach the end of our lives? How do we deal with the fears, the pain, the anger, the regrets? Is there something than can help prepare us and ease the transition?

The answer may be in our dreams. I saw this firsthand with my mother, whose dreams about her beloved father as she lay dying helped give her peace in her final days. My guest on this episode of Dream Power Radio, Mary Jo Heyen has heard the dreams of many people in her role as a hospice worker and found the healing medicine within them. She has written about this in her book Dreaming Into the Mystery: Explorations into Being with the Dreams and Visions of the Dying. Mary Jo shares her observations with us, including:
•how dreams can soothe the dying
•the common themes of those at the end of life
•how these dreams can aid the families
•when not to share these dreams with family members
This valuable information is both critical and comforting for those at the end of life and their families. Don’t miss this heartfelt episode of Dream Power Radio.
