The Bible tells us that believers have one thing, no one else has - that guarantees victory after the storm.

Proverbs 10:25

When the whirlwind passes, the wicked is no more, but the righteous has an everlasting foundation.

I love the comfort found in Proverbs 10:25. It assures us that, in God’s perfect timing, the storm will come to an end and the whirlwind will pass and the wicked will be no more... BUT. Do you see that big, fat BUT? It’s pretty important.

BUT the righteous has an everlasting foundation.

It doesn’t say everyone will have an everlasting foundation. It doesn’t say everyone will be blessed through their storms. It doesn’t say everyone will find relief amidst the whirlwind. It doesn’t say everyone gets the rainbow.
