De Palazzo brings a passionate spirit and a solid depth and breadth of school-based knowledge to her role as Equality Florida’s new statewide Safe School Director. On this episode, De talks about LGBTQ+ in the K-12 setting to ensure that student identities are respected and treated equitably in schools and beyond. As a former classroom teacher De also shares effective ways to tend to the unique needs of LGBTQ+ students.
