Sarah Combs, the CEO and executive director of University Area CDC, joined AM Tampa Bay to discuss that the University Area CDC has been awarded a grant for $300,000 through the EPA’s Multipurpose, Assessment, and Cleanup Grant Program. The grant money will be used to clean up nine environmental site assessments, including sites that have hazardous substances and petroleum in them.
