With Softy still out on vacation, Jacson Bevens steps in to co-host today's show. Today's match between England and Colombia had everything a soccer fan could want, and it's pretty incredible to think that around the world there were probably a billion people watching the same thing we were watching. There's still a disconnect here in the US though, and some of it probably has to do with flopping. This is something that probably needs to be addressed if soccer is to ever take off here, but the rest of the world doesn't seem too concerned with it. From the follow-up file, Dick clarifies what happened to competitive eater Kobayashi, and golfer Joel Dahmen, guest on yesterday's program gets support for his claim that Sung Kang cheated. The Mariners are good. That's pretty well established at this point. You don't make it to 23 games over .500 if you aren't, but are they exceptional? Aside from Diaz as a closer, do they really stand out in any way? It's something to think about when comparing them to teams like the Yankees and Red Sox. Ian Furness asked Twitter to name their most missed now-former Seahawk player and Kam ran away with the poll overwhelmingly. Is this a big surprise?
