Scott Boras, Juan Soto's agent said today that Soto is only going to a team who's owner is dedicated to winning. A comment like that will cause most Mariners fans to snarkily declare that this immediately disqualifies the Mariners, but remember what Jerry Dipoto said at the beginning of the season.
