The Mariners were blown out by the Yankees last night. It's time to send Sheffield down to AAA. He's young, and there's plenty of time for him to become a great Big League pitcher, but he needs the chance to develop. We've seen what a little time in Tacoma can do for guys already this year. Adam Silver made comments last night that seemed to downplay the idea of NBA expansion, yet Ian remains confident that a team is coming to Seattle. He explains why he's so sure.
