This caused a knee-jerk reaction from fans who immediately assumed that this trade with the Yankees would be just like the last trade with the Yankees. Last night, the Rams beat the Chiefs 54-51, causing a knee-jerk reaction from NFL fans claiming that this kind of offensive battle is the death of football as we know it. Let's all take a deep breath. The trade was for different players, under different circumstances, with a different GM. The football game was only one game.
