A large part of the hysteria that continues in response to COVID-19, is fear of the unknown. Michael attempts to use reason and rational thought, comparing deaths in an average flu season to the declining death rate of Coronavirus in most U.S. states. The disparity in media converage between the two is explained by a ratcheting up of fear for political purposes, to defeat Donald Trump at all costs. Even if that means crashing the economy and ruining livelihoods.
