Dan supports an 'all of the above' strategy in working to deter and limit school shootings in real time, including arming teachers and staff who are willing to undergo the training and certification required to lawfully possess firearms in the school buildings themselves. However, we cannot infringe on the Constitutional rights of law-abiding citizens who have done nothing wrong simply to deny legal access to guns for a relative few bad actors on the lunatic fringe.
