Antidepressants are not addictive. There is no sense of craving. There is however a withdrawal syndrome similar to the flu with mild hand tremor to varying levels which can also be avoided by tapered dose reduction. Depression itself is likely in most cases to be mediated by inflammation of various causes. Where you have the weekest link in your body is where you will break whether it is heart disease, atherosclerosis, diabetes , cancer or depression or dementia. Leaders are chosen principally through perceived competence rather than likeability , however likeability becomes increasingly important in keeping you in power. Whether someone complains about you depends on likeability not competence.
