One of the most fair things a practice owner can do is learn to be disagreeable. YES! stop pleasing everyone and you will get more done. The art of it is being agreeably disagreeable. The book David and Goliath by Malcolcm Gladwell is a great read. If you haven’t read it yet, or listened to it on audible, I strongly suggest you get the book and discover what your personal Goliaths are.   The notion of fairness and group motivation is one that is in large part a Goliath that is killing your practice. Be a David. Be disagreeable. Individual Motivation is the only motivation that will work. It is supposed to be fair, shoudn’t it? Fair is a place that you go to see the animals. A.R.E. you there for me? This question is the most profitable question you can ever say yes too.  It is the motivator your teams need to produce as you need them too.
