Cynthia James is the Executive Director of Community Bridges, a non-profit organization that provides multicultural empowerment and leadership programs for young girls from diverse backgrounds to assist them in becoming exceptional students, positive leaders, and healthy young women. Most program participants are from low-income or immigrant backgrounds. The programs give these girls access to experiences, opportunities, people, and ideas that will help them succeed in life. Currently, more than 150 girls from 11 Public Schools participate in the program.
