Congressman John Katko (R-NY) and Michelle Crawford of Crawford Farms joins Freddie, Trade and Bob on the Harness Racing Alumni Show to discuss the SAFE Act and ending horse slaughter. During the broadcast, Congressman Katko publicly steps up to the plate and vows to be the champion of the legislation to end this barbaric practice. We all must push to get 290 U.S. House cosponsors for the SAFE Act (Safeguard American Foods Export Act) which would place it on the House floor for a vote. The New York Congressman is confident that the Safe Act would pass and finally bring an end to our horses being exported for slaughter.
