Commissioner Lickers believes the IJC is committed to include the traditional knowledge of both indigenous nations and shoreline communities, and to apply science to inform precautionary measures, as the IJC fulfils their mission of informing Canada and the U.S. on issues such as resilience in the face of climate change.
