At the bottom of the first hour I'll be joined by Tennessee State Rep. Sheila Butt to discuss the current statewide social studies and world history standards and Tennessee HB1418, a bill that she introduced in an attempt to ensure students get full and fair exposure to world religions without “religious doctrine” being part of the curriculum. Did I mention that The Council on American-Islamic Relations and some atheist activists are opposed to HB1418?
