On Sunday 5 November our senior Hurlers will play in the Ulster Junior Final in Ballybofey. This is a big day for the club, so ahead of that we grab a word one of the guys who has contributed hugely to the club down the years, Daryl Connolly. Daryl tells us about the life of a semi retired hurler...what does that really mean? We learn about growing up in a hurling stronghold and how he about how he happened upon Na Magha on landing in Derry. We learn about Daryl's other roles within the club including that of a coach, parent and as a member of the Executive. We talk about the satisfaction of helping kids to improve and the lasting legacy that really getting involved can leave. Daryl wants to make hurling available to as broad a spectrum as possible, so if you have any friends or relations that you think might like to get involved... GET IN TOUCH. Lastly we hear a youthful exuberence from Daryl when talking about the upcoming final. It's an exciting time to be a part of the club. Nothing beats being there folks.
