Every year, the St. Augustine City Commission presents awards to individuals or organizations for outstanding service and contributions to the city. In May, coinciding with Historic Preservation Month, the Commission recognized Margo Pope, presenting her with the 2022 Adelaide Sanchez Award for Historic Education and Interpretation.
