She is a nationally-recognized diversity, equity, and inclusion leader and her work is grounded in centering the experiences of historically underrepresented communities and those with intersectional identities to achieve equity. She has been recognized in major media outlets like Forbes, Fast Company, Entrepreneur, and more. In 2019, she was recognized as one of Seattle's Most Influential People, was honored with the Rising Star award from the National Organization for Women, and was named on The 100 Changemakers list by The Gates Foundation.
