In this episode we continue studying the Book of Revelation. We learn that Jesus said, He has the keys to hell and death! When Jesus said ALL power has been given unto Him in heaven and on earth you can bank on it. Matthew 28:18

He also has power over those under the earth, that is departed human beings and spirit beings.
Philippians 2:10 "that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth."

It's time we start acting like we know whose in charge of this earth. In the previous lesson we discovered He conveyed unto us a kingdom.

As kingdom officials we learned we should offer sacrifices of righteousness (sometimes doing right is a big sacrifice), doing good to others, praise and just being thankful for All God has done for us. It also means we have power and authority over Satan and his seed as directed by the Lord, Jesus the Christ. We enforce His will on earth through prayer.

John 14:13 And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
John14:14 If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it

He also said the gates of Hell will not prevail against the church, however, all of this works in conjunction with us being at one with Him.

If it seems as if the gates of hell are prevailing against the church it is because we are not connected to Him as we should be. He is the vine we are the branches and apart from Him we can do nothing.

John 15:5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.

Satan only submits to the Christ that is in us. Apart from Jesus we are powerless over the devil and his seed. Although we've been given this promise:

Luke 10:19 Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.
