In today's episode we continue studying the book of Revelation. We note in Chapter Seven that angels hold back the four winds of the earth, keeping the wind from blowing on the earth.

We also note that an angel seals the servants of the most high God IN their foreheads not ON their foreheads before the winds are held back. Revelation 7:3( KJV).

In scripture wind is figurative for doctrine. The servants of God are sealed in their foreheads before a famine of the word spreads around the world as noted in the book of Amos:

Amos 8:11  Behold, the days come, saith the Lord GOD, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the LORD:
Amos 8:12  And they shall wander from sea to sea, and from the north even to the east, they shall run to and fro to seek the word of the LORD, and shall not find it.

We also note the great multitude standing before the throne. One of the elders told John they were the ones who came out of great tribulation. He doesn't mean "The Great Tribulation as noted in Matthew 24. Great tribulation refers to the tribulations they went through in life.

Strong’s says tribulation means a narrow tight place, trouble, afflicted, anguish, distress, sorrow, oppress, pangs.

Remember in Luke 13:11-17, Jesus healed a woman afflicted for 18 years by a Spirit of infirmity. Strong’s says, spirit means the rational soul, mental disposition, mind, demon. Jesus acknowledged that this condition was Satan’s work.

Scripture says, she was bowed together and could in no wise lift up herself. Strongs says bowed together means completely overcome. Some people are in such bondage, they can’t lift themselves up.

In heaven, they are set free and dwell in the presence of the Lamb because He died for them. These are the ones He spoke about when He said in John 10:16  And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd.

Because of Him they are dressed in white robes. White robes are symbols of righteousness, innocence and purity. Their sins are forgiven, they are now cleansed from all their sin and set free from their debilitating bondage.

Jesus died to destroy the works of the devil (1 John 3:8) but some are not delivered from Satan’s works or his infirmities until they cross over to the other side to be with Jesus.

In Revelation chapter 7 we see these weary ones are now at rest in the presence of the Lamb who died to take away the sins of the world. He is the bread of life, they will hunger no more. They won’t be scorched by the trials of life or tormented by the sins of the flesh. They are now experiencing times of refreshing in His presence and shall thirst no more.
