In this episode we continue our book of Revelation study. In this chapter we note that Jesus visited all the churches and prepared a detailed report highlighting what He found, the good and the bad. For the church in Ephesus He noted their hard work, laboring against false teachers, false apostles and how they couldn't bear those who were evil. He noted they did it all for his name sake. Although that was good, they had left their first love. It appears that all that fighting had caused them to be bad tempered and unfriendly. They weren't friendly or kind to others. A root of bitterness had over taken the love he had planted in their hearts. He could not let them continue to do the work with such a horrible attitude. If they failed to repent He would remove their lamp stand, they would soon fail to exist.
