In this episode we continue studying the Book of Genesis. In this episode God declares that although he knows that the imaginations of man's heart is evil continually, he would never again send a flood to destroy the earth and its inhabitants.

So although men are evil, they will have to dwell together on the earth. The evil men with the good men, righteous men with wicked men.

They will grow up together, live together, eat together and work together and go to church together. But at the right time a separation will occur. He will separate the sheep from the goats and the wheat from the tares.

Matthew 25:31  When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory:

Matthew 25:32  And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats:

Matthew 25:33  And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.

Matthew 25:34  Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:

We also note that Noah sent out two birds before leaving the ark. He sent out a Raven who left the ark and flew about, going to and fro, finding no rest for her feet.

It would come back to the ark, perch outside the ark, but never go inside to rest. Then it finally flew away and never returned. As the flood waters abated and it found carnage strewn about the land and began to feed on it. This is a symbol of those who leave the Lord to go out into the world to fill up on dead things, things that don’t give life. They are full and satisfied but it’s not with things that refresh and give life.

The Dove found no rest for her feet, but she returned and found rest inside the ark a symbol of those who find refuge in their Savior. They realize he saved them from destruction so they remain in Him and experience times of refreshing.

When the waters were abated the Dove brought an olive leaf to Noah as a token or symbol of peace between God and mankind. This foreshadows the peace that exists between God and man through the grace of Jesus Christ, who would die on a wooden cross for their sins.

By the extension of grace, those who believe in his son would be saved from sin and reconciled to him for all eternity.
