So what's happening in the upper room on this day of Pentecost. Previously Jesus well in flesh breathed on many of his disciples and empowered them with his spirit with God's spirit the Holy Spirit to be Witnesses. That's why they received the Holy Spirit so that they could go out into the world and share the miracle of come to Earth through the person of Jesus the Holy Spirit exists on Earth to empower us Earthen vessels to be transformed so that we can come above this world of darkness and despair an enter into God's Kingdom while providing away for others to follow our path. Christ sends his spirit in the form of a comforter to be with us always in a way that Christ could not in his physical form. Now while I believe that Christ is accessible spirit makes him accessible to all Humanity at all times and it is that accessibility Christ and Powers is believers use and sharing the good news of God's Kingdom here on Earth look at what happens when the Holy Spirit falls on those that were in the upper room together the Holy Spirit fills them with this wind this breath and when they breathe out when they exhale they exhale words in a language they do not speak for the purpose of bringing new people into God's Kingdom specifically Jews from across the diaspora there are Jews from all over the world that have come to Jerusalem for Pentecost and In This Moment the Holy Spirit empowers Christ believers to reach these new brothers and sisters and bring them into God's Kingdom but it doesn't stop there. The only Spirit empowers Christ Believers to spread the gospel to Judea and Samaria and then to the rest of the world and so here we are some 2,000 plus years later still spreading the life-changing good news of God's kingdom through Jesus Christ.

In order for God' Kingdom to fully come Jesus had to do a couple of things:
First he had to give up (John 10:17-18 "The reason my Father loves me is that I lay down my life—only to take it up again. No one takes it from me, but I lay it down of my own accord. I have authority to lay it down and authority to take it up again. This command I received from my Father.”) Jesus surrendered his life for you and I.

Next he had to be raised up on the cross (John 3:14 "Just as Moses lifted up the snake in the wilderness, so the Son of Man must be lifted up")

After he was raised he had to be laid down in a tomb (Mark 15:46 "So Joseph bought some linen cloth, took down the body, wrapped it in the linen, and placed it in a tomb cut out of rock. Then he rolled a stone against the entrance of the tomb.")

Jesus laid down for three days, but on the third day he had to get up (Mark 16:6-7 "Don’t be alarmed,” he said. “You are looking for Jesus the Nazarene, who was crucified. He has risen! He is not here. See the place where they laid him. But go, tell his disciples and Peter, ‘He is going ahead of you into Galilee. There you will see him, just as he told you.”)

And finally when all his earthly work was done Jesus had to go up (John 14:1-2 "Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me.
My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you?")

Put it in the chat, text someone tell them give up - raise up - lay down - get up now go up. Jesus came so we could go up.
